Chan Mo Ku

Research Assistant

 

Chan Mo is a Master of Arts in International Relations candidate at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, with concentrations in Security, Strategy, and Statecraft and Asia. His research interests include security cooperation among East Asian states, role of diplomacy and institutions in Indo-pacific region, and development of foreign policy. Previously, Chan Mo worked as an intelligence officer at strategy and policy directorate of Republic of Korea – United States Combined Forces Command. During this time, he contributed to various projects creating strategic and policy documents of the U.S.–South Korea alliance and aided with series of bi-national Combined Command Post Training.

He graduated from King’s College London in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. For his final year dissertation, Chan Mo researched on correlation between inter-Korean peace dialogues and nuclear threats from North Korea.
