Emiliano Alessandri

Emiliano Alessandri is a transatlantic relations expert, with a focus on Southern Europe, the Euro-Mediterranean region and Turkey. Since 2013 he has been serving the OSCE Secretary General in Vienna, with a focus on managing the Mediterranean Partnership and migration portfolios of the Organization among other advisory and program development functions. Emiliano is also a non-resident Senior Transatlantic Fellow with the German Marshall Fund of the US and a non-resident scholar with the Middle East Institute of Washington. He earned a PhD in international history from Cambridge University in 2010 and a MA in International Affairs from SAIS-Johns Hopkins in 2005.
