Sophia Salazar

Research Assistant

 

Sophia is a first-year Master of Arts in International Relations candidate at Johns Hopkins SAIS, concentrating in Technology and Culture. Her research interests include trade relations between East Asia and Latin America, global technology policy, and digital diplomacy. Previously, Sophia was a Fulbright U.S. grantee in South Korea, and managed operations at an early-stage fintech startup. She graduated from Amherst College in 2018 with a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology, and is the recipient of the Seth E. Frank Amherst Graduate Fellowship for the study of international relations.
