Virginia Rosell

Program Coordinator

 

Virginia “Ginny” Rosell is the program coordinator for the SAIS Foreign Policy Institute.  She has held positions at The Brookings Institution (Center for Public Policy Education and the Foreign Policy Studies Program), as well as the Center for Strategic and International Studies (Freeman Chair in China Studies and Executive Education).  Ginny served at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and was asked by the AAAS Associate Executive Officer to join him at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) during the Administration of President George H.W. Bush and remained for the start of the Administration of President Bill Clinton.  In addition to the above, Ginny has held positions at George Mason University, the Washington University in St. Louis, and Georgia Tech.  Most recently, she has been the owner of Dominion Conference Resources LLC, which provides consulting services in conference and events management.  Ginny holds both the Global Certification in Meeting Management (CMM), and the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designations. She is a registered notary public in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
