Yingdong Xu is a recent graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), with a concentration in General International Relations, a specialization in Global Theory and History, and minor in China Studies. Before coming to SAIS, Yingdong was the first Chinese national to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in History from the College of the Holy Cross. Yingdong’s experience in international relations ranges from historical research to business analytics. He has worked at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars as a research intern managing the Cold World history archive. Before that, he worked at the National Fisheries Institute as a business intern, focusing on tracking the status of Sino-American seafood trade in Arlington, VA. He speaks Mandarin Chinese and English.
